Star will be exhibiting at a Temperature Controlled Storage & Distribution event later this year.

The TCS&D Show will take place at the Peterborough Arena on 18 and 19th September 2013. The biennial event for the cold storage and supply chain will incorporate the Frozen & Chilled Foods Show for the manufacturing sector.

Star will be showcasing its range of natural and energy efficient cooling solutions. In response to the R22 phase out and new EU regulations concerning high HFC refrigerants, Star will be promoting the following CO2 systems:

Envichill LPR

A single stage transcritical COlow pressure receiver plant providing single temperature cooling for an extensive range of applications. It is typically employed for retail, commercial and light industrial cooling.

Envichill DX

A single stage transcritical CO2 direct expansion package designed for single, high temperature applications. Typical applications include chill stores and produce chambers in temperature controlled facilites, as well as chill/dairy cases in retail stores and supermarkets.

Envifreeze

A single stage subcritical COunit providing low temperature cooling for an extensive range of applications. It is typically employed as a cascade unit for retail, commercial and light industrial cooling. Suitable for internal or external location.

Star’s Director of Sales – Food Market, James Ward, says: “Having attended the inaugural TCS&D show in 2011, we’re delighted to be returning to showcase our futureproof natural refrigerant solutions. Our energy efficient CO2 cooling systems enable end users to reduce their carbon footprint and have zero impact in terms of global warming and ozone depletion.”

Star will also be promoting its Starcare planned preventative maintenance programme for food processing and cold storage customers. Starcare ensures optimum long term performance and reliability in industrial cooling equipment. It is proven to increase energy efficiency and significantly reduce lifecycle costs.
