Star Refrigeration’s Azanefreezer and Azanechiller ranges of ammonia cooling solutions have been designed to meet the environmental and legislative challenges facing users of temperature controlled storage facilities.
Azanefreezer is a complete refrigeration package complete with housing for connection to two separate ceiling mounted coolers arranged for reverse cycle defrost.

Azanefreezer is available in a range of modules from 110kW (32TR) to 250kW (72TR) for a nominal cold store temperature of -25°C (-13°F).
For chill storage applications, Star’s Azanechiller range of packaged ammonia chillers provides a high efficiency solution using natural refrigerants. Azanechiller is available with either water cooled or air cooled condensers and is factory tested prior to delivery. Options for cold and warm pump modules and heat recovery for defrosting are available.

Azanechiller is available in a range of modules from 218kW (62TR) to 856kW (243TR) for a nominal water supply temperature of +6°C (43°F). It is suitable for glycol and other secondary fluid temperatures down to -10°C (14°F).
