To date, Star has designed over £200M worth of industrial refrigeration solutions. Our design expertise includes ammonia, CO2 and HFC systems.

Star's design team is highly trained and skilled in developing all types of refrigeration plant, including bespoke and standard packaged units.

Our experience covers complete system design, including vessels, heat exchangers, pipe work, electrical specification and controls. Specialist in-house capabilities include the design of vessel shell and internals, compressor packs and pump systems.

Star holds ISO9001 for the complete design process. We have also attained the highest available PED accreditation for the design of industrial refrigeration plant. This includes very large ammonia systems and high pressure CO2 plant.
