Data centres consume large amounts of energy. Electrical energy required to power computer servers has to then be removed and this is done using chillers which consume further power, all of which is then rejected to atmosphere.

Our FREECHILLER solutions utilise Star's thermosyphon cooling technology to reduce energy consumption to half that of traditional cooling systems.

Working in partnership with Trox AITCS, Star has developed a range of CO₂OLpac cooling solutions for blade server and trader desk applications. They provide greater cooling capacity per m2 than traditional solutions and eliminate the need for water in the data centre or trade floor.
