This includes both transcritical and cascade systems for cooling retail cases (frozen and chill), air handling units and heat pumps.

By investing in CO₂ cooling, retailers are able to significantly reduce levels of HFC refrigerant within their estate, or eliminate them altogether. Results to date have also shown a reduction in energy consumption due to the thermodynamic and physical properties of CO₂ . This has a dramatic affect on refrigeration plant carbon emissions through reduced electrical consumption and lower emissions of high global warming refrigerants.
