This Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Royal Hospital construction project comprised a three storey new build extension to form accommodation for Paediatric use with associated mechanical and electrical installations, external works and drainage. Other works included the strip out, alteration and refurbishment of the existing Nightingale Ward.

Star M&E Solutions worked closely with the project Team of GF Tomlinson to supply electrical services to the new accommodation wing.

Co-ordination with the staff of Chesterfield Hospital was paramount to ensure that there was no loss to existing services whilst integrating new and old. Services installed and extended consisted of alterations and additions to existing LV switchgear,
power & lighting, fire alarms, nurse call and control wiring to HVAC services.
