Star-powered cold stores in Egypt

In the mid-1970s we equipped a series of cold stores in Egypt. Modules were installed in housings along the roof of the store loading dock, with a small evaporative condenser on the end. It was a robust and effective system that was a prototype for future packaged plantrooms – including the Star Azanefreezer concept, currently a popular system in 21st century UK.
