In 20024, a chance encounter in Australia led to Andy Pearson being e-introduced to the inventor of the Turbocor compressor, the “great Australian invention” that everyone was asking Andy’s opinion of on his lecture tour of Australia in February that year. He had to confess at first that he had never heard of it – but Star’s Indigochiller using the revolutionary Turbocor compressor has since been used in many applications, including this corporate head office in London. Following that initial introduction, Star had moved quickly to become an authorised OEM for this unique technology and developed a range of water chillers built to industrial standards, known as the Indigochiller.
