Star sponsors international initiative to encourage more women into engineering

A great snapshot from 2022, when Star sponsored FemEng for the sixth year running. This time a six-strong team from University of Glasgow travelled to work with 15 female engineering students at the University of Nairobi, to brainstorm ideas for inspiring young people to take up STEM subjects. Star had the previous year received the Highly Commended Accolade for Diversity Impact at the RAC Cooling Awards, for the success of numerous programs to improve diversity in the industry. Dr. Andy Pearson commented that Star sees its sponsorship of FemEng as playing a vital part in achieving its goal of a diverse workforce.
