Staff progression
We love to see our employees succeed and encourage development and progression within the company. This is not exclusive to promotions; we give our staff the opportunity to progress into different roles within the Star Group companies, to expand their knowledge and experience and explore areas of interest. We have regular one to ones with managers to establish long term goals and objectives to support growth.
Support with continued learning
We support and encourage employees to pursue further qualifications and chartered status in their chosen specialism to complement their work based learning and help them achieve their aspirations. We work closely with industry bodies to share knowledge and provide opportunities for our employees. Many have also attended international conferences to present papers on various topics.
My biggest career highlight was when I graduated with my BA in Business. I’ve done this while still doing my weekly hours at work, it was hard but a great accomplishment
