David Blackhurst: Refrigeration Systems Regulation, Standards and Guidance

David began his career with Star Refrigeration in 1990, specialising in the technical aspects of the industrial refrigeration market. In 2005, David developed Star Technical Solutions (STS) as an independent cooling and heating consultancy, providing wide ranging support on technical, regulatory, energy management and training matters for others within the refrigeration industry. David has written a number of technical papers for the IoR, the IIAR and the IMechE and has received the IoR’s Lightfoot Medal twice as well as several other awards by the UK Engineering Council.
