Andy Pearson: Improving the Energy Efficiency of Refrigeration Systems

As one of the leading names in the global refrigeration engineering industry, Andy Pearson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Star. An advocate for natural refrigerants he has many accolades to his name, including the International Environmental Agency’s Rittinger Medal and the J&E Hall Gold Medal from the Institute of Refrigeration. Andy is the Chairman of the British Standards Institute committee on Refrigeration Safety and was the President of the Institute of Refrigeration from 2010-2013. He also writes extensively for industry publications, including the ASHRAE journal and was last year named an ASHRAE Fellow.
