Eurammon Operators Day

Star Refrigeration presented at the first Eurammon Operators Day, which took place on the 7th July at Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Eurammon is a joint initiative by companies, institutions and individuals committed to increasing the use of natural refrigerants. The Operators Day was hosted by Georg Fisher and took place at their Klostergut Paradies conference facility, situated in an idyllic location on the banks of the river Rhine between Schaffhausen and Lake Constance. Eurammon members were joined by representatives of leading European businesses, including food manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.   Neatpump Package Star’s presentation covered development of the Azanechiller range of air and water cooled packaged chillers and included case studies from three applications. Other topics covered at the event included the use of C0₂ for retail applications, the design and installation of ammonia heat pumps, and applications for ice slurry.
