Warm reception for Neatpump at Chillventa

Star Refrigeration and its Russian partner, Olex Holdings, received plenty of customer interest for Neatpump at Chillventa Rossija 2012. Visitors from across Russia came to the Star/Olex stand to find out more about how Neatpump can help cut their carbon footprint and reduce energy costs. The ammonia heat pump solution uses the Vilter single screw compressor to deliver high efficiency heating at temperatures up to 90°C. The use of plate heat exchanger technology minimises refrigerant charge and optimises performance. Possible applications for Neatpump include food processing, space heating, district heating, process, desalination and drying. Commenting on the event, Star’s Group Sales and Marketing Director Rob Lamb said, “Interest in heat pumps for industrial applications is growing in Europe and we wanted to gauge the level of interest in Russia.
