experienced Technical team to ensure technical compliance on industrial contracts, manage design standards and drive improvement in design and technical procedures.<\/h5>\r\n<h5>Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for ensuring correct and optimum design for industrial contracts and providing technical guidance to the wider Star team.<\/h5>\r\n<h5>This role can be based from any Group office\/branch location with the expectation of some travel to Glasgow.<\/h5>\r\n<h3>Responsibilities<\/h3>\r\n<h5>Key duties include a range of responsibilities which include but are not limited to;<\/h5>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Prompt and effective review and approval of design documentation<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Development of design systems and procedures<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Ensure efficient and effective design quality assurance<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Specialist engineering and industrial refrigeration plant design knowledge, providing guidance to Star group colleagues<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Participate as an active member of the Technical Management Team<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Provide technical knowledge and guidance including sales and commissioning support<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Support resolution of technical issues during contracts and post contract<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Identify system efficiency improvements and cost saving opportunities<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Identify scope for improvement and new design and system development opportunities<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h3>The Candidate:<\/h3>\r\n<h5>The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, including a good understanding of all aspects of industrial refrigeration system design and operation and experience of mechanical and electrical equipment troubleshooting.<\/h5>\r\n<h5>Key skills and experience:<\/h5>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Engineering qualification<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Industry experience in a technical\/design role<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>The ability to work effectively as part of a team<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Good attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and prioritise tasks efficiently<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>The ability to take initiative and have a proactive approach<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>Maintaining excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders<\/h5>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>\r\n<h5>A full clean
