Leeds
Our Leeds branch, one our 9 branches across the UK, supports a network of customers across the North region. We have a team of field based engineering staff supported by a Regional Management and Admin team based from the office in Leeds.
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to join our growing team. Working in a fast-paced environment the successful candidate will work as part of the team ensuring our reputation of high quality is upheld.
The successful candidate will report to the Branch Service Manager and be responsible for the continuous improvement of service standards, providing direct site support for specified service activity.
Responsibilities
A key role within the branch, the duties within the role comprises of a range of different responsibilities, which include but are not limited to the following:
Allocate engineer workload in line with labour demands
Building and maintaining customer relationships
Identify opportunities to improve site performance and reliability
Ensure safe working practices are adhered to in all engineering works
Managing a team of engineers, including their training and development, to ensure a high level of performance
The Candidate
The successful candidate should have:
Specialist experience in the maintenance and servicing of industrial refrigeration systems utilising NH3 and CO2
General experience with HFC refrigerants.
Experience of managing staff
A strong customer focus
Key skills and experience
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and experience by examination and questioning in areas including:
Extensive fault finding and troubleshooting ability
Full understanding of refrigeration principles and fundamentals;
Full understanding of electrical and electronic circuits and diagrams;
